Who We Are

The Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (UCVH) Volunteer Program is a dedicated group of individuals who give their time and talents to support patients, visitors, and staff. Volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the hospital experience by providing warmth, assistance, and a helping hand wherever needed. As part of North Country Healthcare (NCH),  UCVH volunteers contribute to a network committed to improving lives by assuring consistently excellent, integrated healthcare.

What We Do

UCVH volunteers assist in a variety of ways to make a meaningful impact on our hospital community. Opportunities include:

  • Lobby Greeters – Welcoming and directing patients and visitors
  • RxFood Program Support – Helping patients access nutrition assistance
  • Clerical & Administrative Support – Assisting departments with office tasks
  • Patient & Family Support – Providing comfort and guidance during visits

Our volunteers are a key part of UCVH’s commitment to patient-centered care. Whether offering a smile at the front desk or lending a hand behind the scenes, every role helps make a difference.
